Well, the season is almost over, but 1411D finally notched their first win last night. And it was a big one! Under the lights, 9pm game, so the pressure was on. Lots of recruiters on the bleachers. Ha! Anyhow, we got yard stomped Monday night 18-3. At one point I was just hoping we would score ONE run so we wouldn't get shut out.
Last night things just finally came together. We fielded well and got back to bat pretty quickly. We all had some great hits. I had two RBIs, walked twice, and scored a run. It was pretty much the opposite of Monday night as we won 18-4! It's nice to be the ones doing the throttling. So we have our last game next week, but at least we're 1-5 now and we're not going to end the season defeated! Go Hokies! I mean, ugh 1411D!
